Report: Bradley spent $10,330 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Bradley Elementary School District 61 is up 2 percent from five years ago, according to a Kankakee Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Kankakee County school district spent $10,137 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $10,330 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1658 to 1523.

Bradley's spending in 2016-17 was 20 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
