Aroma Park Fire Protection District responded to 74 calls in 2017 - 10.4 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Aroma Park included 57 fires - 24 structure fires, three vehicle fires and 30 other fires.

In all, the department saw $236,102 in fire loss - or about $4,142 per fire.

The department also received 17 false calls.

Two fire service members were injured in fire-related incidents.
