GatheringPoint Church of the Nazarene recently issued the following announcement.
Every Tuesday, from 06/12/2018 to 07/24/2018, 12:45 PM - 1:30 PM
Mighty Movers is a six-week dance clinic for students and young adults with physical and intellectual disabilities who have a passion for dance. Each 45-minute session will cover the basics of ballet, jazz, and hip-hop concepts including: a cardio focused warm up, strengthening and stretching techniques, and choreography. At the end of the final session on July 24, parents will be invited to view what has been learned.
The class is taught by local dance instructors. In each class, "Dance Buddies" will help demonstrate dance moves, encourage participants, and keep the energy high. If you have any questions, please contact the Mighty Movers coordinator, Lauren, at lobeatty129@gmail.com.
Classes will meet June 12, 19, 26 and July 10, 17, 24
10 year olds and up: 12:45 p.m.-1:30 p.m.
