Of the 61 out-of-school suspensions, 41 were given to boys and 20 were given to girls, all of whom were elementary or middle schoolers.
The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for violence without physical injury. The category includes 37 incidents. There were 21 incidents of unspecified reasons. For 25 incidents, students were suspended for 1-3 days.
