Riverside Healthcare issued the following announcement on Jan. 11.
Phillip M. Kambic, Riverside President and CEO has been named Chair-elect to the Illinois Health & Hospital Association’s 2019 Board of Trustees. IHA serves to represent more than 200 hospitals and nearly 50 health systems across Illinois. The association promotes advocacy and policy-making in local, state and national governments.
Kambic had previously served as the Board’s Treasurer in 2018. As Chair-elect, he will work alongside Board Chair Mary Starmann-Harrison and the other members of the 2019 Illinois Health & Hospital Association's Board including :
Immediate Past Chair: William Santulli, Chief Operating Officer of Advocate Aurora Health.
Treasurer: Karen Teitelbaum, President and CEO of Sinai Health System in Chicago.
Secretary: Ted Rogalski, Administrator of Genesis Medical Center in Aledo.
President: A.J. Wilhelmi, president and CEO of IHA.
Trustees elected to serve a three-year term include:
Steven Airhart, CEO of Hartgrove Behavioral Health System and Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital in Chicago.
J.P. Gallagher, president and CEO of NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston.
Dr. James Leonard, president and CEO of the Carle Foundation in Urbana.
George Miller, president and CEO of Loretto Hospital in Chicago.
Kerry Swanson, regional president of SSM Health Illinois in Mt. Vernon and Centralia.
