St. Anne home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in St. Anne rose by $53,046 while total sales decreased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $76,046 - a 230.6% increase over the $23,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in St. Anne in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in St. Anne for 2017 was $2,393. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,266. This marks an increase of 5.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.1%.
