Riverside Healthcare issued the following announcement on April 25.
Friends and relatives of the late Ronald "Ron" Delby gathered with members of the Kankakee Fire Department, staff of Riverside Healthcare, and the Brookmont Bowling Center at a dedication ceremony to donate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Machine on Wednesday, April 24, 2019.
To celebrate the life and memory of Ron, as well as to express thanks for the care provided by Riverside Nurses and EMTs, members of the Brookmont Bowling Center and the Delby Family raised funds to purchase an on-site AED Machine for the bowling alley. This machine was purchased through Riverside's Emergency Management team.
