Village of Grant Park Village Board met Nov. 18.

6:30PM Meeting Called to Order/ Pledge
Roll Call taken, all present except Ms. Dickson and Ms. Veldhuizen
*Motion to approve minutes from previous 11/04/19 meeting
Motion: Wiedl 2nd: Morgan Motion Carried 4-0-0
Public Comments: Christine Wick expressed concerns on the proposed truck stop; she passed out a 2 page paper listing concerns, and facts, statistics on why she feels this is a poor location for this.
Some questions and answers were exchanged.
The Grant Park Youth Commission presented a financial report from the recent Bingo night showing a profit for the night of $4,839.77.
*Motion to approve Bills for payment: <11/15/19 General Fund $5,491.26, Festival Fund $213.18, T.I.F. $39,000, Payroll <11/02/19 $15,447.62, Stipend <11/13/19 $1,275.00

(An open speaker phone conversation from Wade, with the Auditors in relation to the 2019 Village Audit, he gave an outline of the audit, with no findings evident)

Building & Grounds, Morse: Holiday Helpers will have collection boxes out until 12/12/19, there will be a Christmas Home Lighting contest, Christmas Tree lighting will be 12/13/19, @ Comm. Park
Ordinance & Insurance, Wiedl: asked Ms. Morse if an Oktoberfest financial report was prepared, replied one will be at the next meeting
*Motion to approve renewal bid from Illinois County Risk Management Trust for $63,000
