Village of Grant Park Village Board met Nov. 4.

6:30PM Meeting called to Order/ Pledge

Roll Call was taken, all members present

Ms. Morse presented awards to Scarecrow Contest winners, from the 13 entries

Traditional: the Hilgert Family

*Motion to approve minutes from previous 10/21/19 meeting

Motion: Morgan 2nd: Wiedl Motion Carried 6-0-0

No Public Comments:

*Motion to approve Bills for Payment: <11/04/19 General Fund $19,028.11, Sewer Fund $2,164.94, M.F.T $45.43, TIF $1,500.00, <10/19/19 Payroll $15,535.93

Motion: Dickson 2nd: Morse Motion Carried 6-0-0

Rick Hitchcock, of the Hitchcock Group gave a presentation of the findings from a recent survey of residents, and business people of the Village. It was titled “Regional Positioning Plan”. This is from the first phase of possibly 3 phases. This phase gave them information to present an outline, recommended to be done in 3-4 years, including in part capital improvements, operational improvements, public policy, and objectives for future plans. This was a result of the survey, and a workshop. Goals are to bring forward a clear culture, brand, improve appearance, broaden the Villages image, financial tools, and to find opportunities that may have not been utilized.
