ROLL CALL

The Regular Session of the Board of Education, Momence Community Unit School District #1, Momence, Kankakee County, was held at the District Office 400 N Pine Street on Monday evening, November 11, 2019. President Sandra Illum called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. The following members answered to roll call, Carl Ecker, Michael Berns, Coley Halpin, Sandra Illum, Kristen Brucato and Ashley Luft (absent).

RECOGNITION OF VISITORS:

Tom and Kris Madison, Tracy Marcotte (Spring Hill Day Camp) Sue Lincoln, Kelly Handley

CLOSED SESSION

It was moved by Carl Ecker and seconded by Mike Berns adjourn to closed session at 6:39 p.m. to discuss the appointment employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the District or legal counsel for the District, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee or against legal counsel for the District to determine its validity. 5 ILCS 120/2©.

Collective negotiating matters between the District and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees. 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(2).

Litigation, when an action against, affecting or on behalf of the particular District has been filed and is pending before a court or administrative tribunal, or when the District finds that an action is probable or imminent, in which case the basis for the finding shall be recorded and entered into the closed meeting minutes. 5 ILCS 120/2(c) (11).

Motion carried 5-0

RECONVENE

It was moved by Sandra Illum and seconded by Coley Halpin to reconvene to regular session at 6:55 p.m.

Nay: 0

Absent: Mrs. Luft
