Meeting called to order by Chairman Brian Billingsley at 5:00pm on December 17, 2019
Roll call: Brian Tieri, Bob Redmond, Mike Watson, Terry Memenga and Robert Romo.
Ryan LeBran was absent.
Public Comment: None
A. KRMA briefing by Dan Small from Strand.
Village pays projected flow, not actual.
Is KRMA at capacity?
How much longer can it function at the presented rate?
Are residents covering extra cost?
Residential/Industrial
30% Expansion: 4-5 years out at 30 million
B. Capital Spending
I. Dump Trucks with stainless steel beds
Equipment (80% of budget already spent)
Mower/trailer (robotic)
Fork Lift
Lighting Updates (ComEd grant)
Sewer Fund 0 major equipment
II. Parks – Possibly maintain ball fields
Suggested those who use the fields maintain with Village to do weed spraying.
All parks to be reviewed and evaluated next year.
C. Road Assessments Status: 53.4% overall pass map
Map shows scoring of each road
Final report expected January 2020 that will show estimate $ needed to raise overall %
D. Sewer Rehab – Done for year currently
Work to resume March 2020
E. Park Vision – 2020 & beyond
