Village of Bradley Village Board met Feb. 18.

CALL TO ORDER

The regular meeting of the Bradley Village Board was called to order on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bradley Municipal Hall. Mayor Watson presided. Roll call: Trustee’s Redmond, LeBran, Westphal, Billingsley, Tieri and Watson.

AGENDA

Mayor Watson wanted to move the Executive Session to section 10 & strike the KRMA report as it was not ready. A motion was made to approve the Agenda for January 27, 2020 with changes by Trustee Westphal and seconded by Trustee Billingsley (6 ayes 0 nays) Motion carried.

PRESENTATION OF MINUTES

A motion was made to approve the Regular Board meeting minutes for January 13, 2020 by Trustee Tieri and seconded by Trustee Westphal (6 ayes 0 nays) Motion carried.

PRESENTATION OF COMMUNICATION

Mayor Watson read the Village of Bradley Proclamation School Choice Week declared for January 26, 2020 to February 01, 2020

PRESENTATION OF BILLS AND ACCOUNTS

A motion was made by Trustee LeBran and seconded by Trustee Billingsley to pay all bills and accounts. (6 ayes 0 nays) Motion carried.

NEW BUSINESS

A motion was made to go into Executive Session at 6:35 by Trustee LeBran and seconded by Trustee Westphal.

A motion was made to go back into Regular Session at 7:09 by Trustee LeBran and seconded by Trustee Redmond.

A motion was made to adopt Resolution R-1-20-2 A Resolution Authorizing An Independent Contractor Agreement Between The Village of Bradley And Bruce Page by Trustee Redmond and seconded by Trustee Westphal (6 ayes 0 nays) Motion carried.

A motion was made to adopt Resolution R-1-20-3 A resolution Proclaiming The Village of Bradley’s Intent to Earmark Revenue From Sales Taxes For The Purpose Of Granting Property Tax Relief, Expenditure On Public Infrastructure, And Supporting Municipal Operations by Trustee Billingsley and seconded by Trustee Westphal (6 ayes 0 nays) Motion carried.

Doug Anderson, Don St. Germaine, Dave Crawford & Justin Krolik all spoke on behalf of the Resolution advising that they felt it was great for the community and they are very supportive of this resolution.

ADJOURNMENT

A motion was made by Trustee Westphal and seconded by Trustee Billingsley to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 7:37 p.m. on a unanimous aye vote.
