COUNTY OF IROQUOIS: Mobile Home Taxes Due May 1, 2020

Taxes

County of Iroquois issued the following announcement on April 15.

County Treasurer, Kurt Albers, announced that the deadline to pay mobile home taxes without penalty is Friday, May 1, 2020. After that date, as required by the Illinois statutes, a $25.00 per month late fee not to exceed $100.00 will be charged.

The Treasurer’s Office is open, but closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Payments can be made by mail, drop box (located on the south side of the building in front of the 911 center), or online (iroquoisil.devnetwedge.com). Both coupons should be presented when making payments by mail or drop box and a receipt will be mailed out after payment is submitted. The late fee will not be assessed if payments have a postmark of May 1, 2020. Unpaid taxes will result in a lien being filed.

Mobile Home Privilege tax bills were mailed out on Friday, February 28th, 2020. If you are responsible for payment and have not received a bill, please contact our office to obtain a copy of the bill (815) 432-6985 or visit our website iroquoisil.devnetwedge.com. Failure to receive a tax bill will not relieve you from paying taxes or late penalties.
