Kankakee home prices fall in the first quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2020 in Kankakee fell by $2,400 while total sales increased by 83.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2020, there were 68 homes sold, with a median sale price of $66,500 - a 3.5% decrease over the $68,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 37 homes sold in Kankakee in the first quarter of 2019.
