Analysis: Bradley pays $4.35 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Bradley Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 78.5 percent of the $1,397,598 the Bradley Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.35 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kankakee Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Bradley contributed $1,097,352 to the fund, which saw a $26,735 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $251,803, or 18 percent, in 2018. Another $48,443 came from other unspecified sources.
