Analysis: Bradley pays $3.01 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Bradley Firefighters Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 75.1 percent of the $181,202 the Bradley Firefighters Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.01 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kankakee Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Bradley contributed $136,081 to the fund, which saw a $9,854 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $45,121, or 24.9 percent, in 2018.
