224 Kankakee County residents in their sixties test positive for COVID-19

As of August 31, there have been 224 Kankakee County residents in their sixties who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 6,152 residents in their sixties in the county who had been tested, meaning that three percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through August 31, there have been 2,237 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 71 deaths from the coronavirus in Kankakee County.
