City of Momence City Council Budget and Finance Committee met Dec. 21.

The Budget and Finance Committee meeting was held via Zoom.
Present: committee members: Aldermen Salomone, Metz, Cook and Cope. Also, present were Aldermen Rehmer, Temple, Carbonaro, Clark and Mayor Steele.
Bills were discussed for payment.
Bond refinance discussion – William Glass discussed the process. December 1 – could refinance at 3.319%, savings of 22,000.00 in interest cost of the original bond refinance of 2010. On February 1, the 2010 bonds will be redeemed in their entirety. First payment will be in June 2021. Last payment of $2000.00 interest will be paid in January.
