City of Momence City Council Public Works Committee Met July 19.

The Public Works Committee meeting was held in the Council Chambers at 29 North Dixie Highway, Momence.
Present: Aldermen Salomone, Carbonaro, Huddelston, Starkey, Temple and Strunk. Also, present Mayor Steele. Alderman Clark and Cook were absent.
2 bids were received for hot mix asphalt overlay:
KVCC - $3100023.00
Gallagher - $268394.00
Both bids were lower than original estimate
Recommend to award to Gallagher
1 bid received for oil/chip:
Grossearu - $49927.00
Bid lower than estimate
