1. Call to Order/Roll Call

The meeting was called to order by the Committee Chairman, Ms. Webber, at 9:00 a.m. Quorum present.

Ms. Webber asked for a motion to combine and approve all the reports including the County Clerks Report, Assessors report, Recorders Report, Animal Control Report and the minutes from the March 16, 2021 meeting.

Mr. Kerkstra made a motion to combine and approve the minutes and all reports, and Ms. Parker seconded it. Motion carried with a roll call vote of 14 ayes and 0 nays. Voting aye were: Ms. Webber, Ms. Parker, Ms. Polk, Mr. Snipes, Ms. Peters, Mr. Carrico, Mr. Kerkstra, Mr. Darrel Smith, Mr. Ekhoff, Mr. Hunter, Ms. Hudson, Mr. Kenneth Smith, Mr. Wheeler

4. Approval of Minutes: March 16, 2021

5. County Clerk – Dan Hendrickson

• Monthly Report

Mr. Hendrickson stated that he will be certifying the election results of the consolidated election.

Mr. Hendrickson spoke about the need for election judges, Mr. Hendrickson stated that the county is at the higher end of pay for election judges.

There will be vendors from voting equipment in the building on May 18th to demo the equipment that they offer.

There is a Request for Qualifications for voting equipment. There are 4 that are certified in the State.

Economic Interest Statements are due by May15 in the County Clerk’s Office.

6. Assessor – Erich Blair

Mr. Blair reviewed and discussed the report with the committee. There were no questions from the committee.

7. Recorder – Lori Gadbois

• Monthly Report

Ms. Gadbois reviewed the report with the committee.

There were no additional questions or comments from the committee.

8. Animal Control – Kari Laird

• Monthly Report

• Monthly Statistical Data

9. Animal Welfare Advisory Committee – Tinker Parker

• Monthly Update

Ms. Parker advised that they were still waiting on the Wild Fowl signs.

Currently, AWAC is working on the Trap, Neuter, Release program and there will be more information on that in the future.
