Bourbonnais Public Library District recently issued the following announcement.

Ahoy Mateys! Pirate Storytime
Time to swashbuckle and walk the plank! Pirate lovers of all ages are invited to a special Saturday
storytime with Ms. Bri. No registration is required.

Yer a Wizard! Quiz Night
Gather your team of Harry Potter fans and test your Hogwarts knowledge! Teams can be 4-6 people, and children 11 years old and up, teens, and adults are welcome to play. Costumes are encouraged. No fair casting spells to help you win! Register by emailing rparilac@bourbonnaislibrary.org.

Book Sale 
The Bourbonnais Public Library is hosting a book sale Friday, September 24, 10-3, and Saturday, September 25, 10-3 (Bag Sale $5.00). Proceeds from the sale will go towards library programs and services. We are now accepting donations for the sale. Donations exclude encyclopedias, magazines, VHS tapes, and textbooks.

Documentary Screening & Discussion: Riverblue
Join us for a screening of the documentary Riverblue. After the documentary, we will have a short discussion about the film.

A Kids' Concert with Miss Katie! 
Kids of all ages will love singing along with Miss Katie! This concert will feature songs from Disney, pop music, old standards, and family favorites. No registration is required–just come and enjoy the tunes!

Feelin' Groovy Cabaret Performance
Join us for a special cabaret musical event with musician Heather Braoudakis! In this interactive event, Heather will quiz you on your favorite 1960s music! Play along with music from Burt Bacharach, Mama’s & Papa’s, Fifth Dimension, Simon & Garfunkel, and many more!
