The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Kankakee rose by $6,750 while total sales increased by 13.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 144 homes sold, with a median sale price of $121,750 - a 5.9% increase over the $115,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 127 homes sold in Kankakee in the third quarter of 2020.
