Home prices increased in Momence during the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Momence rose by $28,450 while total sales increased by 44.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 26 homes sold, with a median sale price of $174,950 - a 19.4% increase over the $146,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 18 homes sold in Momence in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Momence for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,548, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
