Kankakee home prices fell in the fourth quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Kankakee fell by $4,000 while total sales decreased by 6.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were 122 homes sold, with a median sale price of $113,000 - a 3.4% decrease over the $117,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 130 homes sold in Kankakee in the fourth quarter of 2020.
