Report: Bradley School District spent $11,971 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Bradley Elementary School District 61 was up 19.3 percent from five years ago, according to the Kankakee Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Kankakee County school district spent $10,032 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,971 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,596 to 1,403 students over the same period.

Bradley's spending in 2019-20 was 17.4 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
