Report: Milford Area School District spent $14,669 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Milford Area Public Schools District 124 was up 36.3 percent from five years ago, according to the Kankakee Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Iroquois County school district spent $10,760 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,669 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 650 to 536 students over the same period.

Milford Area's spending in 2019-20 was 1.2 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
