Report: Iroquois County School District spent $10,283 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Iroquois County Community Unit School District 9 was up 2.2 percent from five years ago, according to the Kankakee Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Iroquois County school district spent $10,060 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,283 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,085 to 932 students over the same period.

Iroquois County's spending in 2019-20 was 29 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
