TIGERBALL'S LATE COMEBACK FALLS SHORT AT INDIANA EAST

The Olivet Nazarene University women's basketball team's late fourth-quarter surge falls short as the Tigers lose at Indiana East 111-105. Caroline Boehne recorded her fifth double-double of the season while Maggie Cora led ONU with 21 points and five steals tying season-highs in both stat categories.

Boehne finished the night with a season-high 19 points to go with 14 rebounds. The senior forward sparked a fourth-quarter comeback scoring 13 of the Tigers' 28 points in the final 10 minutes. She went on a two-minute stretch where she poured in nine points.

Cora's 21 points ties a season-high that was set back on Nov. 30 against Trinity International. The Senior guard also tied a career-high in steals, setting the mark in the previous game with Governors State. She has swiped 10 steals in the last two games combined. Cora's layup with 53 seconds left in the game capped off a 17-2 run that cut the deficit that was as large as 18 points with 3:41, left to just three.

Bett O'Neal and Khendel Rolison both set individual season-highs in scoring tallying 19 points and 17 points respectively. O'Neal got hot out of the halftime intermission to drop 10 points in the third period. She was 2-3 from three and made two of two free throws. Rolison's production came mainly in the second half totaling 12 points. She also made plays down the stretch in ONU's search for a comeback dishing out three assists, a block, and a steal.
