Three double-doubles in a brief five-day stretch have earned Olivet Nazarene University's Caroline Boehne Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors for the seven-day period ending Dec. 18, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Boehne scored no less than 19 points and secured at least 11 rebounds in each of three contests, while shooting 77.4 percent from the field (24-of-31).  The senior forward finished the three-game stretch averaging 20.7 points and 13.7 rebounds per outing.

Boehne's biggest game came on Friday when she tied a career-high with her 23 points to go along with 11 rebounds in a 91-67 victory against Indiana University Kokomo.  She went 7-for-9 from the field that night, including hitting three of her four three-pointers.

One day later, Boehne went a perfect 9-for-9 shooting from the field in a 20-point, 16-rebound performance in a 111-52 decision over Calumet College of St. Joseph.  That gave her an impressive 16-of-18 shooting mark from the field (.889) over the two games in less than 24 hours.

Boehne opened the busy week last Tuesday when she totaled 19 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and two blocks in a 111-105 setback to Indiana University East.

Combining her 41 rebounds this week with her previous 87, Boehne ranks second in the conference with her 10.7 carom average.

Olivet Nazarene is now 7-5 overall and 5-2 against CCAC competition.
