The Olivet Nazarene University men's basketball team surpassed the 100-point threshold for the third time this season to take down Trinity International 104-78 Saturday afternoon.

In a game where ONU led from start-to-finish, Trinity International (8-7, 4-4 CCAC) kept pace with the Purple and Yellow Gold throughout the majority of the first half, only trailing by three at 30-27 with 6:25 to go in the opening period.

That was the closest they would get, however, as the Tigers would close out the first half on a 23-7 run. Five different Tigers scored during the stretch, with Landon Pfelderer scoring seven of his 15 first-half points and Caleb Swearingen knocking down two triples.

It was all ONU from there, as Tyler Schmidt, who recently received his fourth CCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week award, scored 12 of his game-high 25 points in the second half to put the game away. Trinity International was never able cut the deficit down to single-digits.

Pflederer finished with 20 points and dished out nine assists. Swearingen and Barik Olden finished in double-figures with 17 and 16 points, respectively. In total, 12 Tigers found the scoresheet in Saturday's win.

With the win, ONU improves to 12-5 overall and 7-2 in the CCAC.
