City of Momence City Council met Dec. 5.

The City Council Meeting of the City of Momence was held in the Council Chambers at 29 North Dixie Highway, Momence.

ROLL CALL

Roll was called by the Clerk with Aldermen Doody, Carbonaro, Huddelston, Clark, Starkey, Cook, Temple and Strunk present.

APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES

Alderman Cook made motion to approve the minutes of November 21, 2022. Alderman Temple seconded the motion with Aldermen Carbonaro, Huddelston, Clark, Starkey, Cook, and Temple voting yes. Alderman Doody passed.

APPROVAL OF THE BILLS

Alderman Cook made motion to approve the bills for payment. Alderman Clark seconded the motion with Aldermen Doody, Carbonaro, Huddelston, Clark, Starkey, Cook, and Temple voting yes.

CITIZENS FOROM –

OLD BUSINESS – Alderman Cook asked about the replacement for the position of treasurer. Mayor Steele indicated a temporary replacement is working. He is waiting to see if she wants to take over the position on a permanent basis.

ALDERMANIC REPORTS –

Department Heads – Scott indicated that chipping is done for the season. They are still working on leaves, thinking this is the last week.

Alderman Carbonaro made motion to adjourn. Alderman Doody seconded the motion with Aldermen Doody, Carbonaro, Huddelston, Clark, Starkey, Cook and Temple voting yes.
