Four multi-hit games from Olivet Nazarene University's Kai Hudson (St. Petersburg, Fla.) has earned him Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week accord, as it was announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Hudson batted .563 (9-for-16) over the seven-day stretch with two hits in each of his first three games before going 3-for-4 with two runs scored in a 4-3 win over NAIA No. 24-ranked Taylor University in the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday. The senior infielder also drove in a pair of runs in the first game of the four-game set on Friday.
For the four games combined, Hudson scored six runs, including five of the team's nine on Saturday. He also extended his season-high hitting streak to ten games.
Olivet Nazarene is 7-7 on the season.
