The Olivet Nazarene University men's basketball team named six student-athletes to the NAIA Scholar-Athlete honor roll presented by Daktronics, the league office announced Thursday.
Austin Eifert, Barik Olden, J.D. Rienow, Gabe Renchen, Caleb Swearingen, and Ben Green for their efforts in the classroom this year.
In order to qualify for the honor, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have attended one full year at the university. Click HERE for the full men's basketball list of honorees.
The ONU men's basketball team finished the 2022-23 season with a record of 23-8 and won the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) regular-season title for a fifth-consecutive year. The team also qualified for the NAIA National Tournament.
