Q3 2022 Recap: 1 parolee from Kankakee County convicted of crimes involving alcohol set for release

There was one offender convicted of a crime involving alcohol living in Kankakee County released on parole during the third quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Kankakee Times.

The data shows the released offender was a woman. She was convicted in 2022 when she was 57 years old. She is now 58.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
