Bradley Elementary School District 61 Board of Education met Nov. 8.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Education of Bradley Elementary School District No. 61 was held on November 8, 2023, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Bradley Administrative Center - 111 N. Crosswell Avenue, Bradley, IL 60915.

On roll call the following members voted present: Board Members Fisher, Golwitzer. Hasemeyer, McCullough, Trudeau, and Whalen were all present at the Board Meeting location. Board Member Wilder was absent. Also in attendance were Superintendent Goselin, Finance Director, Nicole McCarty and Director of HR, Kevin Patterson. Also present were Building Principals, Trisha Anderson and Anna Kirchner and Assistant Principal, Jeff Voss.

Pledge of Allegiance was led by Board President Golwitzer.

A Motion was made by Fisher and seconded by Trudeau to adopt all items on the Consent Agenda: 1) Approve Regular Board Meeting Minutes of October 12, 2023; 2) Approve Committee Meeting Minutes; 3) Approve Payroll and Accounts Payable; 4) Approve Reimbursement of Imprest Account; 5) Approve Monthly Treasurer's Report; 6) Approve Facility Usage Request; 7) Approve Bradley Central Graduation Fee from $40.00 to $45.00 for 2023-2024 School Year; 8) Approve Disposal of Surplus Property.

On roll call the following members voted Aye: Fisher, Golwitzer, Hasemeyer, McCullough, Trudeau and Whalen. Absent: Wilder Abstain: None Nays: None Motion carried.

Recognition of Excellence: 1) Board Member Day - November 15, 2023; 2) $5.00 For the Cause - Nurse's Fund - During the Christmas Holidays – Nurse Vaughn and District Staff; 3) IASB Board Member Awards – Distinguished Board Leader - Terrie Golwitzer and Mary Fisher.

A Motion was made by Hasemeyer and seconded by Trudeau to Approve Preliminary Tax Levy 2023.

A Motion was made by Trudeau and seconded by McCullough to Approve Request for Proposal (RFP) for Copier Lease and Maintenance Service.

A Motion was made by Golwitzer and seconded by Trudeau to Approve New 5-Year Contract with Final Site (District/School Webpage).

A Motion was made by Trudeau and seconded by Golwitzer to Approve Contract to Purchase the 301 S. Douglas Property.

A Motion to go into Executive Session at 7:33 p.m. was made by Hasemeyer and seconded by McCullough to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, dismissal or complaints [5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)]; student disciplinary cases [5 ILCS 120/2(c)(9)]; and discussion of minutes of meetings lawfully closed under this Act [5 ILCS 120/2(c)(21)].

A Motion was made by Hasemeyer and seconded by McCullough to Approve the Appointment, Employment, Compensation, Discipline, Performance, or Dismissal of a specific Employee.
