City of Watseka Finance, Legal & Audit Committee met Dec. 19.

PRESENT: Aldermen Marcier, Cahoe, Barragree, Miller, Muench, Anderson, Alderwoman Rohlfs, Mayor Allhands and Alderwoman DeLahr via phone
Alderman Marcier opened the meeting at 6:00pm. There was no public comment. Alderman Anderson makes a motion to recommend to the Council to accept the November Treasurers report and Alderman Miller seconded. Roll call carried 9-0.
Alderman Marcier makes a motion to recommend to the council to give Heritage Woods a TIF 3 reimbursement of $51,022.35 and Alderman Miller seconded. Roll call carried 9-0.
Alderman Marcier stated the committee has quotes from Ruder Electric for audio video recording for the council chamber of $7235.00 and CCTV security system monitor installation in city hall and police department office of $3886.00. Also a cost to purchase 3 monitors for a cost not to exceed $3500.00.
Alderman Marcier makes a motion to recommend to the council to accept the quote from Ruder for the audio video recording system for the council chamber for $7235.00 and Alderman Anderson seconded. Roll call carried 8-1 with Alderman Cahoe voting no. He stated he believes a lot of the cameras are not being used for what they were intended for. Alderman Marcier makes a motion to recommend to the council to accept the quote from Ruder for $3,886 for the CCTV for the police and city hall offices and to purchase 3 monitors for a cost not to exceed $3500.00 and Alderman Barragree seconded. Roll call carried 9-0.
Alderman Marcier makes a motion to recommend to the council to transfer $41,805.00 from 30-50-8000 water fund into 61-10-9000-2019 Bond Repayment fund and Alderman Anderson seconded. Roll call carried 9-0.
Alderman Marcier makes a motion to recommend to the council to transfer $41,805.00 from 30-60-8000 sewer fund into 61-10-9000-2019 Bond repayment fund and Alderman Miller seconded. Roll call carried 9-0.
Alderman Marcier makes a motion to recommend to the council to transfer $176,716 from 36-10-1000 infrastructure fund into 63-10-9000-2022A Bond repayment fund and Alderman Miller seconded. Roll call carried 9-0.
Alderman Marcier makes a motion to adjourn at 6:15 pm and Alderman Cahoe seconded. Roll call carried 9-0.
