Board to consider ordinances approving requests from MARTINEZ & NAVARETTE HOLDINGS, LLC d/b/a BEAUTY AND THE BAKER, LLC regarding the property located at 34 North Cass Avenue, Westmont, Illinois, 60559, for the following:
Site and Landscaping Plan approval.
Downtown Incentive Program grant.
Background Of Subject Matter
Petitioner requests a site plan and landscaping plan approval for the construction of an addition, improvements to the rear, and the front facade to accommodate the proposed bakery.
Additional Background
Additionally, the petitioner is also requesting grant funding through the Downtown Incentive Program.
Recommendation
At its February 14th meeting the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of the items.
b. 2024 Outdoor Dining On Public Parkway Grant
Board to consider an ordinance adopting the 2024 Outdoor Dining on Public Parkway Grant Program.
Background Of Subject Matter
In conjunction with the West Quincy Streetscape public parkway outdoor dining program with high standards for furniture/equipment. The Board expressed interest in a grant to facilitate the purchase of outdoor furniture by local businesses.
Additional Background
This program will provide reimbursement for physical equipment & license fees paid between 1/1/2024-7/31/2024; receipts must be submitted by 7/31/2024. The program is for 2024.
