Westmont Village Board of Fire and Police Commissioners met April 4.

1. Call to Order
Chairman Kovanda called the April 4, 2024 Special Meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners to order at 2:00 PM.
2. Roll Call
Chairman Kovanda - Present; Commissioner Qualizza - Present; Commissioner Mulhearn - Present; A Quorum was present. Chief Gunther also present.
3. Public Comments
Chairman Kovanda opened the meeting to any public comments; there was none.
4. Ongoing Business
Commissioners currently waiting for written confirmation from the PD confirming Candidate #29 who did not meet qualifications set by the Cook County Academy regarding Power Test Requirements.
Discussion regarding Sergeant Promotion Testing. Text has been purchased by the PD and will Be issued to IOS Solutions and the Fire and Police Commission.
Assessment Center - IOS Solutions will present the Fire and Police Commission with topics and The PD will make the final decision for the Assessment Center.
5. New Business
The Commission spoke with Amy Epitance of IOS Solutions regarding the upcoming Sergeant Examination with regards to clarification of the timeline.
6. Adjournment
There being no additional business before the Commission at this time, Chairman Kovanda made the motion to adjourn and Commissioner Mulhearn seconded the motion.
