Iroquois County Public Health Department Board of Health Finance Committee met June 5.

CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Dr. Zumwalt, Chairman, called the Iroquois County Public Health Department Board of Health Finance Committee meeting to order at 12:00PM on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 in the Iroquois County Public Health Department Administration Office. Roll call was taken.

APPROVE AGENDA: LuAnn Armantrout made a motion to approve the agenda. Motion seconded by Dr. Philip Zumwalt and approved by voice vote.

PUBLIC COMMENTS: N/A

REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF CLAIMS FOR MAY 2024: A claims listing for May 2024 was reviewed for approval. LuAnn Armantrout made a motion to approve the May 2024 claims as submitted. Motion seconded by Dr. Zumwalt and approved by roll call vote: Aye - Dr. Zumwalt and LuAnn Armantrout.

ICPHD ADMINISTRATOR ERIC CECI:

A. GRANTS & CONTRACTS: Iroquois County Public Health Department Administrator, Eric Ceci, detailed the current grants and contracts list for FY2024. ICPHD officially renewed its contract with the Illiana Migrant Head Start Program. Discussion was held regarding the partnership with Livingston County closing the IBCCP program. To conclude, Eric presented the idea of a sharps disposal container on-site.

B. REVIEW OF ICPHD PROGRAM SUMMARY REPORT: A copy of ICPHD's program summary report was distributed for review and discussion.

C. ADMIN COMMENTS: Eric Ceci provided an update regarding the 2024 IPLAN. In addition, discussion was held regarding the 2024 Iroquois County Fair booth as well as ICPHD's ten-year anniversary. To conclude, Eric detailed the health departments' current employment opportunities.

EXECUTIVE SESSION 5 ILCS 120/2[c]: THE APPOINTMENT, EMPLOYMENT, OR COMPENSATION OF PUBLIC EMPLOYEES: LuAnn Armantrout made a motion to enter executive session. Motion seconded by Dr. Philip Zumwalt and approved by roll call vote @ 12:52pm. Aye - Dr. Zumwalt and LuAnn Armantrout.

At 1:13pm, LuAnn Armantrout made a motion to resume normal session. Motion seconded by Dr. Zumwalt.

OLD BUSINESS: N/A

NEW BUSINESS: Eric Ceci discussed adopting a new food code that will need approval in the future.

ADJOURNMENT: LuAnn Armantrout made a motion, seconded by Dr. Zumwalt, to adjourn at 1:15PM on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. Motion approved by unanimous voice vote.
