City of Watseka Public Safety Committee met Aug. 13.

a) Monthly Meeting- August 6th all but one attended, discussed the turnout regarding the 4th of July Parade as well as the storm preparation discussed the needs of the upcoming Family Festival, set expectations and assigned officers according to the requests of the festival committee, also started the generator on the boat.
b) Detail: July 15th prepared unit for large storm approaching, arranged 4 officers including myself to be in the city preparing for what was a damaging storm, no damage to anything within the city limits.
