There were 14 Black students enrolled in Iroquois County school districts in the 2022-23 school year, 17.6% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that Black students made up 0.4% of the 3,781 students in the county. They were the least represented ethnicity at the time.

Among the seven districts in Iroquois County, Iroquois County Community Unit School District 9 recorded the highest enrollment of Black students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 14 students.
