City of Watseka City Council met Nov. 12.
Here are the minutes provided by the council:
PRESENT: Mayor Allhands via phone, Aldermen Marcier, Barragree, Cahoe, Muench, Miller, Anderson, Alderwomen Rohlfs and DeLahr
Mayor Allhands opened the meeting at 6:30 pm. There was no public comment.
Belmont Area Road Project: Alderman Marcier makes a motion to accept the design and construction engineering services out of TIF 3 from Robinson Engineering for $45,900. Alderwoman Rohlfs seconded. Roll call carried 8-0.
Belmont Ave, Lincoln Ave, & 6th St Water Main- Alderman Marcier makes a motion to accept the design engineering from Robinson Engineering for $82,400 and Alderman Miller seconded. Roll call carried 8-0.
Belmont, Lincoln, 6th St Watermain Project: Alderman Anderson makes a motion to move forward with the project with funds not to exceed $800,000 using TIF 3 & TIF 4 funds. Alderman Muench seconded. Roll call carried 8-0.
Belmont Area Road Projects: Aldermen Miller makes a motion to move forward with the road project not to exceed $352,000 using TIF 3 & TIF 4 funds. Alderman Muench seconded. Roll call carried 8-0.
Mayor Allhands makes a motion to adjourn at 6:34 and Alderman Anderson seconded. Roll call carried 8-0.
