BOURBONNAIS - Nancy Moctezuma Capps (Hynes), aged 70, of Bourbonnais, passed away on December 11, 2024. Nancy, survived by her husband Terry Capps, dog Georgie, and nephews Nicholas and Michael Dusenbury, was known for her vibrant personality, generous spirit, and remarkable career achievements.

Born to Luisa and Julio Moctezuma, Nancy grew up in Chicago with her sister Elsa and attended Cathedral High School before pursuing her education at Columbia College and Roosevelt University. Nancy had a diverse career, including impactful roles at Leo Burnett, work on the film Havana, and serving as the director of marketing at IRI.

Remembered for her passion, strength, optimism, and innate ability to bring people together, Nancy's storytelling abilities and genuine warmth touched the lives of many. Her loyalty and unwavering support endeared her to all who knew her. Nancy's zest for life and love for travel, cooking, and hosting will be cherished by those who had the privilege of being part of her vibrant circle.
