The meeting was called to order by Village President Timothy Nugent, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll call of the Board was made by the Village Clerk.
Motion by Boyce, seconded by Crockett, to waive the reading of the minutes and approve the regular Board Meeting minutes of November 18, 2024, as presented by the Clerk.

• Still looking for ideas for the space in the Square which was left vacant when the Village had to remove the tree. Please email Trustee Boudreau at the Village if you have an idea. Next Parks and Recreation meeting will be scheduled if needed
Public Safety and Health- Trustee Dole
Nothing on the agenda tonight
• Holiday safety tips for keeping your house safe if you are planning on traveling during the holiday season. Keep your lights on timers to appear that someone is home and make sure someone is picking up your mail and any deliveries to your home or make arrangements with the Post Office to stop mail delivery.
• Use the 9:00 pm time frame to make sure your cars are locked, and all valuables are taken out of your vehicle.

Planning and Zoning- Trustee Crockett

The next Planning and Zoning Committee meeting has been canceled for December 24, 2024, at 7:00 am at the Village Board Room. The next Planning Commission meeting has been scheduled for December 10, 2024, at 6:00 pm in the Village Board Room.

• Payment of bills $928,281.65 (includes TIF #3 bills of $0)
• Bills authorized and paid between Board Cycle: $46,671.26
• Ordinance 24-13 : An Ordinance for the levy and assessment of taxes on real property for all purposes of defraying expenses for all corporate purposes for the Village of Manteno, Kankakee County, Illinois, for the fiscal year commencing on May 1, 2024, and ending on April 30, 2025.
The next Finance meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday December 17, 2024, at 7:00 am in the Village Board Room.
