State Representative Haas has provided a summary of her activities and accomplishments for the year 2024, emphasizing community engagement and legislative progress. She expressed gratitude to the constituents of the 79th District for their continued trust.

Haas reported that she and her staff participated in over 115 community events, including tours, ribbon cuttings, celebrations, and galas. These interactions aimed to maintain direct communication with constituents and local leaders. Additionally, her office organized 12 outreach events, five donation drives, and more than 30 traveling office hour sessions. The initiatives included blood drives, shred events, ICASH events, and an annual job fair. Donations were collected for organizations such as Toys for Tots, the Lions Club, and Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

In Springfield, Haas worked on legislation addressing childcare issues and enhancing safety in schools and communities. Looking ahead to 2025, she plans to enhance transparency by creating a Legislative Agenda page on her website once new bills are filed. This page will provide updates on the legislative process.

To increase accountability, Haas intends to launch a Legislative Survey in 2025 to gather input from constituents about their priorities and concerns. She also encourages residents to contact her office with any questions or comments.

Haas concluded by thanking everyone in the district for their support throughout the year.
