In recognition of International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27, 2025, Kelly highlighted the significance of remembering those lost during the Holocaust and combating antisemitism. She wrote, "On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember the six million Jewish lives and countless others lost during the Holocaust."
On January 28, 2025, Kelly criticized former President Trump's decision to pause funding for PEPFAR for 90 days. PEPFAR is a program aimed at providing HIV/AIDS medication that has reportedly saved millions of lives. She pledged to continue advocating for its reauthorization in Congress: "In the 119th Congress, I pledged to lead the fight to reauthorize PEPFAR – a program that has saved 26 million lives with HIV/AIDS medication."
