A motion was made by Trustee Phillips, seconded by Trustee Dole, to approve the minutes of January 8,2025, as written; motion carried by voice vote - all ayes, no nays. Boudreau absent

Public Participation: None

Items for Discussion:

• Historical Society Donation Request- Asking for same amount as last year $1,500.00.

• FY 24-25 Audit Proposal- The Village has received a quote of $28,600 from Smith, Koelling, Dykstra and Olm to complete the FY 24-25 fiscal year. The approval with be placed on the next village board meeting.

• Health Insurance Renewal (see attached)- Got a renewal from Homestar. We are currently with United Healthcare, so they looked at a couple of different United Healthcare plans, they also looked at BlueCross BlueShield plans. Those are the two main providers in Illinois. BCBS had bigger premiums and deductibles. We have been with United Health Care for a few years, and everyone seems happy with them. We reimburse the deductibles for employees so we can get lower premiums. The original quote was 7 to 8 percent higher and Homestar was able to negotiate rate relief and got a rate 3% increase from last year. Our recommendation is to stay with the plan we have.

• Preliminary Budget Amendment (see attached) Mr. LaRocque presented the first draft of the amendment to the FY 24-25 budget.

• Preliminary Budget (see attached) Mr. LaRocque presented a preliminary budget for FY 25-26

• Project Cost Recaps- Received final bill for decorative lighting on North Cypress

• Month End Financial Report- The month end financials are covered in the Budget Amendment.

A motion by Trustee Phillips and seconded by Trustee Dole to adjourn the meeting at 7:57 a.m. Voice vote – all ayes.
