State Representative Jackie Haas of Kankakee recently hosted local leaders Alicia Kleinert and Nicole Gavin at the Women to Watch event held in Springfield. The event featured a breakfast, listening session, networking lunch, and an information seminar, providing a platform for women in leadership roles to share insights and accomplishments.

"It was an honor to welcome Alicia Kleinert and Nicole Gavin to the Women to Watch Event," Rep. Haas stated. She praised both women as leaders in the community and commended their efforts to improve the area.

Alicia Kleinert serves as the founder and executive director of MCA Adult Day Care, which offers senior care services rooted in a holistic approach. Meanwhile, Nicole Gavin holds the position of executive director at Visit Kankakee, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting tourism within the Kankakee region.

Rep. Haas also remarked, "This event was an incredible opportunity for Alicia and Nicole to share their accomplishments and network with other women from across Illinois who are leaders in their own communities. I look forward to watching both of these incredible women grow and thrive alongside our community."

The event was attended by nearly 50 women from across the state. Their contributions were acknowledged by House Republican Leader Tony McCombie.
