Kayla S. Sailsbery, 25, of Manteno, unexpectedly passed away on March 18, 2025. She was born on September 28, 1999, in Joliet. Kayla was a beloved phlebotomist who had a passion for playing soccer, gaming, and animals. Known for her positive soul, fun-loving nature, and love for nerdy things, Kayla brought smiles and laughter wherever she went. She enjoyed helping others and cherished time with friends and family.

She is survived by her mother, Kim Wasney, father, Randy Sailsbery, brothers, Joey Sailsbery and Brayden Wasney, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and her girlfriend, Mekayla Padgett. Kayla was preceded in death by her grandmother and great grandmother.

Visitation and a funeral service will be held on March 29, 2025, at Brown-Jensen Funeral Home in Manteno. Memorials may be made to the family's wishes or through a designated GoFundMe page.
