Terry A. Yunker, aged 67, of Manteno, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Born on December 19, 1956, to Norman H. and Dorothy A. Yunker, Terry worked in warehousing and had a passion for sports, particularly as a dedicated fan of the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. He enjoyed playing softball in Peotone men's and co-ed leagues.

He is survived by his son Jonathan M. Caher; step-sons Jason Ziems and Joey Ziems; sister Sandie Teske; step-brother Roger Beaver; sister-in-law Peggy Yunker; devoted friend Denise Yunker; cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by his father Norman Yunker, mother Dorothy Yunker Beaver, step-father David Beaver, brothers Norman, Keith, and Bruce Yunker, and brother-in-law Wiber Teske.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Manteno Leo Hassett Community Center. Brown-Jensen Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Flowers or memorial gifts can be sent to the family through the Sympathy Store. Terry will be fondly remembered for his love of sports and his vibrant spirit.
